SURFACE CRACKS?IMG_7010

We’ve all seen those pesky cracks that step right up your surface while panic crosses your face. Before you repaint, prime with Mastic Primer 101. Then, use Flex Koat 204…. A crack bridging miracle!

HARD WATER STAINS?IMG_7014

Do your sprinklers run off a well? Do you live near a lake? Hard water stains are often unavoidable wherever water is involved. Do NOT repaint over the stain… rust will leak through your paint. Use Oxalic Acid to treat your surface and clear the rust away before you repaint!

STUCCO BURNING OUT?IMG_7012

Stucco must have time to cure before it is painted. If the PH levels are still too high when paint is applied, the acid will eat through the paint layer. When this happens, the painting process must start over. Prime the surface and repaint with a 100% acrylic base paint, like Flex Koat 204 or Weather Koat Super Satin 206.

SURFACE FADING FROM THE SUN?

The Sunshine State is a beautiful place, but presents challenges when painted surfaces are involved. Choose Paint with UV Protection (and so much more): Anchor Coatings sells paint with added UV protection and Biocides. Our paint is a top of the line, acrylic paint, with a high solids by weight content and added Biocides: Mildewcide, Fungicide, and Algaecide. Choose your colors wisely: Blacks, rustic colors, and greens will fade sooner than later. Choose light stains and earth tones to extend the life of your color. Enjoy the sun AND enjoy your paint!

MAINTAIN AND SUSTAIN!

Now that you have achieved the beauty you have been searching for, maintain your surface properly and you will extend the life of your hard work. Wash with water and a mild detergent, such as Simple Green, but do NOT pressure wash every year!

There is a solution for every problem and a kind treatment for every surface.
